Goal II: Living the Dream (2007)

The sequel to 2006's GOAL! THE DREAM BEGINS tells the story of a successful talented young football player, Santiago Munez. The circumstances take even a more favourable turn than expected. After playing for the football club Newcastle United and gaining great experience, Santiago gets excellent promotion prospects when he is transferred to one of the world's most famous football clubs, Real Madrid. However, fame and material well-being don't give the high-flying Mexican a feeling of emotional and spiritual satisfaction, as he has the unenviable task of warming the bench. Moreover, his relationship with his fiancee Roz eventually gets complicated and his more experienced teammates such as legendary David Beckham, Ronaldo and Zinedine Zidane seem to regard him as their potential rival. The moral conflict becomes aggravated when Santiago meets his younger brother…
